Coldplay - Hymn for the Weekend music video Review To start with I honestly am in love with this song. There have been controversies regarding cultural appropriation and I agree with that but what they have shown is not wrong either. False patriotism is by no means a thing to be proud of. But I'm not going to go into what controversies they run into. It's a straight up review slash personal opinion of mine. Like million others, I see a lot of videos on youtube especially music videos. This one stand out for its own vision which the Coldplay team have perfectly achieved. Almost every part of the video is beautifully choreographed and the intensity of the music and its weight depicted almost uncanny. From the opening scene of Benares "he" sitting on the rooftop, the birds flying in the background to the explosion of colors, to the fire trick (which was enhanced by CGI) they seemed to be living in the moment.
